MR. FRANK AI.ASE’S FLIGHT

It is proposed by Air Frank Alase to set out from l.ympne aerodrome next Wednesday on the first stage of his flight from England to New Zealand according to private advice received hy friends in Auckland. 'flic Siminonds Spartan machine which he will use will he christened and named “All Black” by Lady Aho Bailey, the noted airwoman, to-day. Air Alase hopes to fly to Australia and hop off from Hobart on the final stage to Christchurch. This is the first time that a flight with this objective lias been attempted.

Advice cabled 'from London on April 15, said “Air Alase has completed test flights with the Spartan ’piling in which he proposes to fly to New Zealand. He will carry a spare propeller and will change the spark plugs daily The route embraces the following stops ping places Rome, Malta, Benghaci Cairo, Bagdad. Basra. Bushire, Karachi, Allahabad, Calcutta, Smirabaya Bima, Darwin , Sydney, AJelbourne, Hobart and Christchurch.
