LAXCASTER’S CONDITION
(Received this day at 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 19. Captain Lancaster, due to the crash, is reported to be in a critical condition aboard the steamship Varban, which will dock at Hoboken to-morrow when an ambulance will meet the ship.
MASE’S AEROPLANE.
CHRISTENED “ALL BLACK.”
(Received this day at 11 a.m.) LONDON, April 19
Lady Bailey christened Mase’s aeroplane at Croydon, naming it ‘All Black.” Mase received Sir Joseph Ward’s telegram wishing him bon voyage. He carries the Hampshire Aero Club’s greetings to the Auckland Club. ATase expects to set out in a lew days. The machine is equipped with an 80gal. tank, and lias a longer range than any light aeroplane, and capable of covering 2000 miles, normal travel. Tt is also fitted with inter-changeable wings, which may lie reversed at will.
