HAWERA, April 19. E. A. Pacey was returned unopposed as Mavor.

For the Borough Council there are aleven nominees for nine seats.

Tire following were returned unopposed for South Taranaki Power Board: L. A. Bone and E. A. Pacev.

Hawera Hospital Board: F. Gillanders, W. G. Simpson.

Patea Harbour Board: S. Blake

A poll will he taken on a change of half-holiday from Wednesday to Saturday.

STRATFORD, April 19,

Nominations for Mayoralty: J. W McMillan (sitting Mayor), N. B Fletcher and E. Moore (Councillors) and E. R. Finnertv.
