DOMINION DEFICIT
OK OYER HALF MILLION

WELLINGTON. April 16
The Prime Minister to-night announced that there was a deficit for the financial year ended March 31st, 1929, of £550,000. The Prime Minister stated that he looked forward with great confidence to the future, and he considered that the Dominion had now reached a position of stability. The Dominion’s trade recovery, be said, had been remarkable.
