The “Daily Express” Parliamentary Lobbyist states: Famous bankers, business men, authous, Ambassadors, and at least six ex-Clmncellors ot tbc Exchequer will bear the Budget debate, beginning at 3.80 p.m. tomorrow (Monday). Every seat in the Galleries has already been allotted. There will ho remissions of Die “breakfast table” duties. There is to he a re-arrangement- with the breweries under which'the Itxcheqnci will bo partly recouped for what Ixmefits they will derive from the Government’s derating problems. Mr Churchill (Chancellor of Exchequer) is considering an eleventhhour small concession to the married income taxpayers, irrespective- of whether they are childless or not. The Budget will have an important hearing on the Conservative Party’s General Election policy. It will provide funds for a slum clearance scheme, and Air Baldwin’s unemployment policy is being outlined on Thursday. It, however, is in no waj a spectacular policy. It will include proposals for an exchange of visits of trade representatives between Britain and the Dominions and Cokmios.
