Mr Churchill (Chancellor of Exchequer) is considering an eleventhhour small concession to the married income taxpayers, irrespective- of whether they are childless or not. The Budget will have an important hearing on the Conservative Party’s General Election policy. It will provide funds for a slum clearance scheme, and Air Baldwin’s unemployment policy is being outlined on Thursday. It, however, is in no waj a spectacular policy. It will include proposals for an exchange of visits of trade representatives between Britain and the Dominions and Cokmios.
