LONDON, April 14
In order to save a Foundling Hospital site of nine acres off Gray’s Inn Road from builders. Lord Rothermere has purchased it for £525.000 ray ng £50,000 down, in order to secure an option until June, 1931.
Lord Rothermere also offers £SO 000 towards the purchase of the witc making it £IOO,OOO if the entire, site is converted into a Children’s Park, being used one month each year ft* a camping ground for British Boy Scouts.
