SHANGHAI, April 15
Defeated soldiers in Slinngteh and Hunan provinces looted the city and made prisoner L. H. Gabh, Inspector of the Atlantic Petroleum Company. He was without 'food or clothing all lay, wounding lum by a spear thrust in the thigh. A British gunboat was unable to approach the city owing to iow water.
