MASTERTON, April 12. The opening day of the Masterton Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting was held to-day. The weather was dull, with occasional showers, and the track was holding. The tote takings were £13,170 against £11,170 last year. Results :
llighweight Handicap Starboard Light I, Elicit 2, Gay 3. Won by 5 lengths. Time 2.12.
Novice Stakes:— Glendhu 1. Tune 2, Glare 3. \\ on by two lengths. Time 1.16.
Juvenile Handicap :—Oral 1, Hunting Call 2, Ev Do no 3. Won by a 0 f a. length. Time 1.5 1-5.
Lawn Handicap:—Sky Rider 1, Royal Black 2, Aurora Borealis 3. Won by a head. Time 1.43.
Masterton Cup: —Mendip 1, Spearmi.ss 2, ’1 eheka 3. Won bj T 1J lengths. Time 2.0 4-5.
I‘lying Handicap:—Bonoge 1, Quantum 2, Veronese 3.
Grandstand Handicap:—First Ruler 1, Bis,sac 2, Footpad 3. Won by a length. Time 1.31 1-5.
Lansdowne Handicap:—Roi de Val 1. Iliown Sugar 2. Arrow Boy 3. Won by a head. Time 1.16 4-5.
