NEW PLYMOUTH, April 7
Tommy Donovan, of Waitara knocked out Frank Taylor of Auckland in the sixth round of their scheduled tenround professional bout on Saturday night, when the Opera House was overflowing. Donovan has now won his four professional flights by early knockouts. In a professional ten-round light, Jimmy Catterill (Wellington) defeated oack Crowley (Australia) on points.
SYDNEY, April 7
At the Stadium, Kid Along (8.13) secured a points decision over Archie Hughes (8.13) in a bout' of fifteen rounds. The decision was unpopular.
NEW YORK, April G,
At Boston, Johnny Risko soundly thrashed Yinporta in a clean-cut decision in a ten-round bout. Risko led all the way.
