FATAL BURNING

Maurice .Judd, aged fourteen, who was burnt by an explosion of gas in .Judd’s foundry on Friday night died at the hospital this morning. His father. John Judd, who was also burned, was able to leave the hospital to-day.

POSTMASTER'S DEATH. AUCKLAND, April 8

Hoy Jones, postmaster at Manurewii, Wiis found dead at (i a.in, in a shed at the back of the post, office. b v a telephone exchange operator. ELECTRIC SHOCK

CHRISTCHURCH, April 8

,). Worsdalo, married, received an electric shock at Lake Coleridge power house on Friday and was hospitalled in a serious condition, suffering, from burns on the lace and arms. His clothes became ignited by an electrical discharge, when testing the cables.
