THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES.
THE MIRACLE Or I*'LYING. We have long passed the stage when opinions of the dogmatic and the timid were expressed that flying was nothing more than a dangerous adventure, and would continue to do so, indulged in only by those who scorned risks and trilled with great danger. Day by day the doubters become less numerous and less vocal, and lie would be a daring person who would now set bounds to civil aviation. Tue miracle of flying has happened. • The aeroplane has proved itself and is now offered for use and development. It has introduced an entirely new relationship between \ man and his environment. —Lyttelton Times.
