DUKE OF YORK’S APPOINTMENT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received this day at 12.25. p.m.) RUGBY, March 27. The King has approved of the appointment of the Duke of York to ho Lord High Commissioner of the Church of Scotland, in succession to Earl Stair. In this capacity his Royal Highness will open the Annual General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
