WELLINGTON WAR RELIEF ASSOCIATION.

WELLINGTON, March 28.
At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Wellington War Relief Association the financial statement showed the total available fluids at the 28th February’ to be £24,132 11s I()d. It was mentioned that at present the rate funds would only see the Association over another live years. Mr Luke remarked there might lie less unemployment this year and smaller demand on the fund.
THEFT CHARGE. ASHBURTON, March 2&.
At Mcthven yesterday, William Thomas Kidson, aged 23, was fined JSIO, in default one month, for theft of £lO from a work-mate with whom he Svas living. He was also ordered to refund the money.
