Alore than two hundred itfe stated to have died from exposure while on duty, or for want of adequate attention, consequently public opinion is whipped to fury, and Parliamentarians instist that the scandal should he thoroughly sifted. Hitherto the military authorities have asserted that the deaths were due to influneza, but a Parliamentary Allusion from Paris will investigate the causes. A strong outcry against- the Government is developing.
