MILITARY ELEAIENT TO GO

The Prime .Minister announced today that, in accordance with the previously announced decision of the Government to place the police ’force IM Western Samoa on a civil basis, and reduce its strength from 74 men to 45, the necessary steps are now being taken to return to New Zealand those members of the Military Police Force who desire to return on the expiration ~f {heir period of service next month.
