Seven volunteer timber emplooyees were severly handled by strikers when returning to their homes last night Tim attackers escaped in a car. The employers are offering a reward of £SO for the conviction c.f any offenders. A STRIKER SHOT. MELBOURNE, March 6. Strikers in three cars raided the tim her mills at Tooronga to-day, armed with bricks and pieces of timber and road metal. They broke all the windows. The accountant in self defence, fired four shots from a revolver at the raiders. ' ’ One of the strikers was wounded. His comrades assisted him to a motor car. The party then decamped.
