From Education Board, Christchurch promising consideration of extra grant iu the next meeting; agreeing to attend to alterations to shelter shed and provide extra class rooms.—Received. From Railway Deparmcjit, arrangements for excursion on "Wednesday to Arthur’s Pass.—Received. From. Ross School Committee stating they did not desire to take part in the excursion.—Received. The Visiting Committee (Mrs Perry and Mrs Wilson) reported on some small requirements.—Received and approved. Messrs Richards and Shannon were appointed for next month. The Rector reported., the roll number was: Primary 297, average attendance 275; Secondary, 10G and average a: tendance 100.7; asking for some attention to ground.—Received; grounds committee to attend to requirements. It was resolved to write the Board expressing appreciation at the attention given the school sanitary aecoin modation, and painting of the roof o the school. It was resolved to run the excursion on Wednesday, wet or line. The train leaves at 7.G0 o’clock. The meeting closed at 8 p.m.
