The former President Calles look over the duties of quelling the Mexican military revolt when ho was made Secretary of War. The States of Sonora and Vera Cruz are controlled by rebels who also claim six other States. There was no bloodshed, the revolting military commanders taking control without firing, but revolutionary troops began moving northward from Vera Cruz to-day in the direction of Mexico City.
