Several of the cities and towns in the State of Vera Cruz are reported to have been captured by a number of Mexican army units which have .'Revolted. On Sunday, under the leadership of General Jesus Aguirre, they revolted. A simultaneous army revolt, which is being led by General .Manzo, is also in progress in the Northern Mexico State of Sonora. Vera Cruz, Jalapa, Orzava, Perote and other cities and towns have fallen. The purpose of the revolution is understood to place in the Presidency of Mexico Gilbcrto Valeilzuela, who formerly was the Minister for Mexico to Great Britain, and who recently announced his candidacy as opposed to the Provisional President, Gil. AMERICA ADVISED. WASHINGTON, March 3. The Department of State has been officially! advised /that 'revolutionary forces have attacked the government of President Gil in Mexico simultaneously at Nogales on the United States border in the State of Sonora ,and at Vera Oruz on the Gulf.. 'The extent of the casualties is unknown. Communications have been severely impaired. REBELS GAIN VERA CRUZ. MEXICO CITY, March 4. It is now reported that the Mexican Army has revolted in eight States. The Governor of the State of Sonora has joined General Manzo. General Aguirre has taken seven cities in Pera Cruz. The rebels are telling President Gil J that he must go, to allow Sen or Gilberto Valenezuela to assume the Prosidency. Troops are rushing to the fronts. The Mexican Navy has exchanged shots with soldiers on the shore of Vera Cruz. NAVY JOINING. VERA CRUZ, March 4. Seven ships of.the Mexican Navy have now joined with General Aguirre, the revolutionary leader.
