At the New Zealand Methodist Conference, the election of district chairmen resulted:—Auckland, Rev. E. Drake; South Auckland, Rev. W. A. Burley; Taranaki-Wanganui, Rev. W. W. Avery; Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu, Rev. F. Copeland; Wellington, Rev. E. 1). Patchott; Nelson, Rev. P. N. Knight; North Canterbury, Rev. A. N. Scatter; South Canterbury, Rev. W. Crigg; Otago-Southlaiid, Rev. H. E. Bell house; Solomon Islands, Rev. J. F. Goldie.

Parker; Wellington. Rev. C. H. Olds; Nelson, Rev. G. 10. Brown; North Caterbury, Rev. A. 11. Fowles; -louth Canterbury, Rev. R. B. Tinsley; Otago-Southland, Rev. W. H. Hocking. Changes in the posting of home missionaries outside Auckland province are —Norsewood, C. Duncan; Feilding, T Thornley; Porirua, W. Trafford; Mastorton, H. Dvson; Paraparaunm, W. rl. Wilson; Havelock (Nelson), C. E. ?oke; Picton, S. Keen; North-East Valiev, L. C. Elmsloy; Mosgiel, J. W. Bavliss; Cromwell, A. E. Orr. The stationing of ministers, telegraphed yesterday, was ratified with one alteration. The Rev. W. Wills was posted to Te Awamutu. in place of the Rev. 0. Blair, who will occupy the •barge at Lyttelton, to which Mr Wills was originally appointed.
On the recommendation of the Cir•uit Committee it was. decided to sta\ion an ordained minister next year it Durham street, Christchurch (se•ond minister), Hamilton (second), and Woolston (second) in that order of urgency.
The conference passed a motion that '•ongratulations should he sent to Miss Eleanor Lovell-Smith, who had completed fifty years as organist at the •>t. Albans Methodist Church, Christchurch, and expressed a wish that Mis® Lovell-Smith would be speedily restored to health. An anonymous donation of £IOO was placed in me plate at the Pitt street Church last night when a missionary rally was held.
