MESSAGES FROM THE DEAD
WJ DOW’S EXTRAORDINARY STORY.
LONDON, Fch. 27
Mrs Hinelieliffe widow of Captain lincheliffe, who, with Miss Elsie Murray, was lost in an Atlantic flight, described to a gathering of women an '.eric night visit of her husband. She said that she and three friends, me of whom was a medium, awakened iit the sound of heavy footsteps. It was just the same as when her husband used to leave the house early in the morning, on living duty, wearing lieavv flying boots. As a subsequent seance she asked Captain Hinelieliffe about it, and lie rep'ied that lie had been in the house. He added that lie was very busy impressing people on earth with
the value of aviation, and instructing them. Airs Hinchcliffe remarked to the audience that she had already noticed that several people interested in flying had taken up spiritualism, which she attributes to her husband. Captain Hinchcliffe said that he had met a lot of the old crowd again who had been killed in the war. He had manifested himself, holding a large torch, the light of which fell on the faces of the sitters, who saw him and signed a certificate about it.
