BOMB OUTRAGE
THREE MEN CONVICTED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright.) (Received this day at 8 n.m.) MELBOURNE. February 28. After a trial occupying several days three men were convicted of a bomb outrage at the Greek Club, Melbourne, on December Ist, and were sentenced by Chief Justice Irvine to the maximum of fifteen years imprsionmcht. The prisoners were Timothy O’Connell (4(5), a dealer, Francis Delaney (27), a salesman, and Alexander Melver (2(5), a labourer. Two others, Stanley Williams (3(5), a bookmaker, and Norman Mclver (28), a stevedore, were acquitted. The two first convicted admitted their guilt. Prior to the convictions O’Connell in an angry outburst •from' the dock declared he had been the victim of the biggest frame-up ever perpetrated. The Judge stopped him and described him as both cruel and callous. v
