The weather was fine throughout for the first day of- the Dannevirke Racing Club’s autumn meeting, and the track was good, also the attendance. The tote handled £13,939 lor the day, against £11,475 on the first day df the corresponding meeting last year. Results : Highweight ‘Handicap.—(3) Break o’ Day 1, (6) Braeniau 2. (o) Birkbeck 3.
