(Australian Press Association)

NEWCASTLE, Feb. 20

A dramtic turn has occurred in the case in which a girl named Hilda Johnson, aged 15, died on Doocmb . loth, last, after eating some chocolates that were given to her at a picture show.

During an inquiry into the ease today, the police sought and obtained an adjournment, to enable them to take a certain course. Detective Ryan informed the Coroner that he had heard from two postal youths that they had been offered chocolates on the night of the girl Johnson’s death by Harold Ferris, who casually remarked: “You need not oat them unless you like, because they have been in a pocket where I had poison.” Both of the youths then spat them out. . , ■
