The Plunket Shield match, Otago v. Canterbury, was continued to-day in perfect weather, the wicket and outfield both'being excellent. Canterbury were dismissed for 300, the last six wickets tailing for 83 runs. Only a stand by the last two men saved the situation. Otago in the second innings have lost 3 wickets for 313, Blunt and McMullan making an excellent third . wicket stand for 221. Blunt made 10i and is still in. McMullan was caught at 95.
