SLASHED WITH RAZOR. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, February 22. A crowd of persons saw a young man slash the throat of Mrs Ellen Kelly with a razor in Crown Street, Darlinghurst. In an effort to protect herself .Mis Kelly received a cut on the arm ami one finger was nearly severed. Hie man was later arrested and charged with maliciously wounding. It is believed to he a case of unrequited love. LAUNCH MTBSTNG. SYDNEY, Feb. 21. A motor launch, with a crew of four, left AlacLcav River on Monday, for Port Macquarrie, on the north coast, and is long overdue, and it is feared to have founded. Aeroplanes to-day searched the coast without success, Smith and Ulm helping.
