OBITUARY
ADMIRAL SIR FRANCIS BRIDGEMAX. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. 19. The death occurred siiutlonly, at Xnshau, Bahamas, where lie was spending the winter, of Admiral Sir Francis Bridgenian, aged*'Bo. The late Admiral fluid a distinguished career, and was the first (ommander-in-Chief of the Home Fleet in the North Sea, and contributed largely to the establishment of the Grand Fleet. [Admiral Bridgenian entered tin* Navy in 1862. and in 1903 attained the position of Rear-Admiral. He became Commander-In-Chief of the Home Fleet in 1907, and again in 1911, and was an A.D.C. to the King. He was a Lord of the Admiralty in 1910-11. and First Sea Lord, 1911-12.1
