After a paper was read at a section of the Medical Conference yesterday, bv Sir J. W. Parrott, of Melbourne, on visiual standards in railwaymen and mariners, it was unanimously resolved that the present standard should lie maintained, and that the lowering of it would he dangerous on account of the increasing speed of steamers.
