Miss Peggy Robertson (ICO yards and 220 yards intermediate girl champion of New Zealand) dead-heated fiom scratch in the 100 yards ladies’ handicap, with Miss D. Grant ‘(1 sec'. Miss Robertson’s time was announced at 65 2-5, which is 1-5 sec better than Miss Ena Stockle.v’s New Zealand record. In his heat of the 220 yards men’s handicap, G. Bridson (440 yards and 880 yards New Zealand champion) was timed at 2 min 31 • sec, which equals the Dominion record of A. Stokes (Canterbury), established in Wellington last week.
