ADDINGTON STOCK SALE. YESTERDAY’S PRICES. CHRISTCHURCH., Fob. 14. There were good entries at to-day 3 Addington sale. Fat lambs went oft satisfactorily. Beef showed a slight decline. Messrs H. Matson and Co review the sale as follows: Store sheep.—There was a large entry of store lambs. The demand was on the basis of last week. Crossbred anti long wools sold readily, the best quality to 255, good 18s to 225, medium 16s to 17s 6d, culls from 12.?. Ewe lambs sold readily. Fat sheep: There was a large yard ing. Prices declined on last week’s rates. Best ewes sold to 35s 7d, medjium 29s 6d to 31s 6d. light and plain 27s 6cl to 295, extra prime ewes 30s to 33s 4d, heavy 26s to 27s 6d. medium 24s to 25s 6d, light and plain 18s to 21s. Fat lambs: There was an entry of about 2,500. The competition was good, being up to schedule rates, and it maintained an even basis. Bose heavy lambs sold from 33s 4d to 34s lOd, prime 29s to 32s 9d, medium 2'>to 28s 6(1, light and unfinished 23s 6'J to 25s 9d.. Fat cattle: There was a large yarding of mixed quality, with odd linos. For prime stuff the demand was easier by an average of 10s per head. » In the case of heavy sorts they showed up to 25s of a drop. Pigs: There was a fair yarding of pigs. Porkers met with a steady demand, with a slight increase in values Baconers were a shade easier. Ihe average price was 6d to 6sd per U».
