BOAR D’S DECISIONS. Uy Teleg.apli—Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 12. The Town Planning Board to-day received many requests from local authorities for visits of the Director of Town Planning, ant! it was decided that, where possible, all requests bo given effect to. The Hon. Mr de la Pcrelle opened the Board’s meeting. It was decided to seek the fullest co-operation of the press. The Director is to attend the Municipal Conference at Wanganui in March, to lay before them Hapolicy of the Board with regard to rational town planning. He will also address meetings in various towns as time and opportunity permit. 'Pile principle of reparation and of regional schemes was approved. Consideration of a number of provisional .schemes was adjourned, pending further elaboration by the Board, and the consideration of the Government regarding the possible amendment of the Town Planning Act with respect to regional planning. In the meantime the local authorities are asked to proceed more actively with the preparation of civic surveys. i
