BYRD’S DISCOVERY
FOURTEEN XEYY AIOUNTAINS. (By Telegraph—Press Association). AUCKLAND, Feb. 5. A wireless message from Commander Byrd, received to-day by Air R. Bropliy, Seeond-in-Command of tlu* Expedition, states: “We discovered fourteen m-w mountain peaks on a flight yesterday (Alonday).’’ A further message stated that 1 the ship Eleanor Bolling was to leave this morning, and would probably arrive at Dunedin on February 15, and wonkl sail on In r return to. the Antarctic on Februarv 17.
