A NEW DEVELOPMENT. (Australian Press Association) MELBOURNE, February 3. There has been another developmentin the Williams mystery. The poiico diver has found no body in the river at Seymour, which is a- very snaggy stream. Another motorist has informed the police that he gave a lidt to a man closely resembling Williams last -Sunday morning at six o’clock. The stranger’s hands were swollen, and he confessed that he had had a row with his mate. A c-rtuntry stationmaster also reports that he heard a roadside brawl on Saturday night, followed by two shots. The police found two empty cartridge shells in Williams’ car.
