LATE LOCALS.
The National Mortgage and Agency Ltd. notify entries for the stock sale at Totara Flat on Wednesday next. The final for the Greymouth Bowling Club’s Singles Championship- was played on the Grey green on Saturday afternoon between D. McKay and F. Whibley. Although the finalists were unfortunate in striking a heavy green and had weather for their game, an interesting game was witnessed, the standard of play generally being high. Mr McKay proved the winner, the scores being 23—14. Tlie death occurred yesterday morning at her residence, Blaketown, of Mrs Mary Ann Haul), after an illness lasting several months. A native of London, and 65 years of .age, the late Mra Haul) came to New -Zealand in.- 1879, and had resided on the West Coast for about half a century, many years of which she had lived at Reefton, coming to Greymouth in 1923. The deceased leaves a family of four, two sons (Messrs Conrad H. Haul), of Blaketown, and Andrew Haul), of Dunedin), and two daughters (Mrs F. Wilson, of Reefton, and Mrs A. Gillman, of Greymouth).
