It, lias come from Air Cook (Secretary) on behalf of the Miners’ Federation of Great Britain. In an accompanying letter, Mr Cook says that as the Federation has been given representation upon the Committees formed for the purpose of administering the Lord Mayor’s fund, it has great p'easure in .making the donation. and will continue to do everything possible to support and increase the fund. The Federation trusts that the great work of ameliorating the sufferings of the miners may proceed with all possible speed and thoroughness.
