HIGH COUNCIL MEETS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, Feb. I. The High Council of the Salvation Army met this morning and adjourned after tlie briefest discussion. It is understood the Council is sending a letter to General booth inquiring when lie or his counsel will appeal to the Council and state the case. STEAMER REFLOATED. LONDON, .Fob. 3. The “Sunday Times’’ understands Bishop Davidson has written to General Booth a friendly letter, referring to his age and health and advising him to retire. LONDON. February 3. The “ Daily Herald” asserts Bishop Davidson told General booth he was disappointed that the General went to a secular court instead ol composing their differences in the privacy of the Council Chamber. It would have been better to have retired, as he (Davidson) had done.
