KOKATAHI STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co, report: We held our summer sale at the Kokatah Sale Yards on Wednesday, (the entry comprising 35 fat sheep and lambs and 139 head of cattle. There was a large attendance of butchers, and graziers, and competition was exceedingly keen, the sale being undoubtedly the liest held in these yards for some years. Weaner calves realized £3 13s, 18-mos old steers £6 15s, 2j-yr old steers £lO 10s, and fat bullocks up to £l6 15s. We sold as follows:—On account of S. Havill, 14 fat lambs at 25s 9d, 21 ewes at 27s 3d. On account of T. J. Meharry, 2 fat heifers at £ll 12s Gd, 8 at £lO 15s. On account of W. Cropp, 7 mixed weaner calves at £2 15s. On account of H. Growcott, 13 weaner calves at £3 13s. On account of J. McCormack, 1 fat cow at £7 12s 6d, 1 forward cow at £5 ss, 1 steer at £5 12s 6d. On account of D. Mulholland, 4 2j-yr steens at £ll, 9 at £9 17s 6d. 011 account of T. Chesterman, 3 fat cows at £lO 12s Gd. On account of J. G-. Meharry, 3 2£-yr heifers at £7 10s, 3 at £7, 14 2£-vr steers at £lO 10s. On account of G. Ccderman, 1 bullock at £lO 15s. On account of R. Houliston, 2 fat bullocks at £l6 15s, l 1 at £l3 15s, 2 heifers at £9 15s, 1 heifer and 1 cow at £B. On account of A. W. 'Meharry, 3 steers at £6 7s Gd, 1 cow and calf at £8 ss. On account of T. Stop forth, 8 forward cows -at £6 17s 6d, 1 fat cow at £9 ss. On account of R. Mulholland, 10 weaner calves at £3 Is. On account of Stan Graham, 13 18-mos steers at £6 15s. On account of J. W. Graham, 9 2s-yr steers at £lO 10s. On account of P. Heslan, 1 steer at £8 12s od, 1 springer at £8 7s 6d, 1. at £8 12s 6d, 1 at £lO 2s 6d.
