QUASHING A PLOT. (United Press Association—By Eloctrio Telegraph—Copyright). MADRID, January 30. Ex-Premier Sanchez Guerra was arrested at Valencia and lodged in a military prison. He was suspected of complicity in a plot to' overthrow General Riveria in September. Aeroplanes flew over Ciudad, and dropped leaflets statimr- “All Spain is quiet. Surrender immediately and return to the barracks, otherwise you will be bombarded.” ’ The revolt ended inside half an hour and the rebels returned to the barracks with their guns. The civic authorities returned to duty and normal life was restored. HOUSE OF LORDS. LONDON,' January 30. The House of Lords passed the third reading of the Imperial Telegraph Bill. FATAL AIR CRASH.
