The tanker is the only one of its kind in the world. The vessel was an imposing sight ns it lay at the wharf, with the supersjrgeture assembled completely at the stern, and the long, flat deck in front. On this vast expanse of deck there are only pipes and tanks used for loading and unloading the petrol which is stored below.. The vessel is low-built, and its deck is level with the wharf as it lies loaded to the PlimsoJl mark. When heavy sets are met the deck is awash practically all the time. The deep engine room, with its four huge Diesel engines, is also very impressive, whilst the bridge, from the small dashboard on which the vessel is controlled, and the cabins are beautifully built and finished. The Brunswick will unload one and a-half million gallons of petrol at Sydney out of its cargo of four million gallons before proceeding to other AustVjasian portsV'
