At the inquest to-day, Miss F. Richards, giving evidence, said she accompanied Rinaldi to Pines Beach, where ,they bathed. They had been in the Tw'ater only a few minutes when she found herself out of her depth, and called for assistance. Rinaldi came to her aid, and held her up for some time. Despite a heavy sea and a strong undertow Rinaldi pushed and dragged her near the shore, where two other bathers came, in answer to Rinaldi’s call, and took her to safety. Rinaldi said then that he was exhausted, and immediately he was swept out by the s.trong undertow into the breakers. Efforts to reach him were vain.
