Street explosions and bursts continue in London. There have been eleven in tlie metropolis in the last seventeen days.

The “ Daily News ” has introduced as a standing headline, “ The Daily Burst.”

To-dny’s hurst occurred in the Strand, where a hydraulic main forced up the pavement. There were also smaller bursts in neighbouring streets. Water flooded the basements, stopped t raHie. and destroyed the paving in Arundel Street.
