THE “DAWN” FILM. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 29. Cabinet lias approved of the action of the film censor (Mr W. C. Tanner) in proliibitng the screening of tiie film “Dawn” (which has been the subject of world-wide controversy) in New Zealand. When Mr Tanner decided against the exhibition of this film, an appeal was made to the Minister of Internal Affairs (Hon P. A. De La Perelle), who, in view of the big question involved, submitted the matter to Cabinet. Cabinet upheld tlie decision of the censor.
