MOR F t RECORDS BROKEN

DTMEDJN, Jan. 24. Three New Zealand swimming refolds were beaten at the Kiwi Club’s nival at the Municipal Baths this evening. Reggie Geddes- (the holder T of the New Zealand junior boys’ 75 yards breast-stroke championship)' swam 75 yards in 61 sec, beating the New Zealand fresh water record of 66 2-5 sec, held by G. Boyd (Wanganui) and also breaking the New Zealand salt water record of 62 1-5 sec, held by Leslie Olds (Otago). The intermediate girls’ 75 yards breaststroke record of 06 2-ssec, established by Miss D. Breward at Christchurch, was broken by Miss Maxiene Mathieson who completed the distance in 65 4-5 sec.
