THE ULIMAROA.
HELD UP BY PORT OFFICER. (By Telegraph-Press Association). AUCKLAND, Jan. 22. The Ulimaroa on arrival from Sydney early this morning was delayed from berthing for about three hours, ponding consultation between the medical officers, consequent on a report that several passengers had a suspicious skin rash. The conclusion arrived at was that the eruptions were caused by mosquito bites and tiie ship was released. Dr Chcsson states nothing was seriously wrong, but tlie Port Heaitn Officer. Dr Hoake, acted quite properly in refusing to clear the ship, till .Dr Boyd and himself had been consulted.
