CYCLONIC CONDITION

SUVA REPORT. (By'Telegraph--Per Press Association.) SUVA, January 22. For the last two days, cyclonic conditions have prevailed in the Pacific. Yesterday a cyclone was approaching Fiji.from New Hebrides. The barometer is still falling but it is now believed the centre of the storm will pass south o'f Fiji, and will not affect the colony. The Clan McKinley from Noumea, en route to Suva, is in a heavy gale close to Fiji! She was due at Suva yesterday. A native cutter is reported sunk outside Suva harbour this morning. The Moeraki has gone to rescue the crew.
