GIRLS ATTACKED

YOUNG .MAN ARRESTED. (Australian Press Association) (United Servioe.) (Received this day at 10.30. a.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 17. Six girls whose ages range Irom three to eighteen were attacked in various part of Leichhardt by a young, man who later was arrested and charged. One girl was knocked down in a street and another had her dress torn off. The assailant was chased by a man and a woman from street to street, hut escaped the infuriated pursuers on each occasion. The police believe the arrest will clear up the mystery of a number of indecent assaults which have occurred in that suburb recently.
