QUEENSLAND FLOODS
THE RIVERS FALLING. (Australian Press Association). (United Service.) (Received this day at 9.25. a.m.) BRISBANE, Jan. 16. The flooded Queensland rivers are now failing. Herbert River, which was four feet over the railway linOvS at Ingham is now level with the bridge. Four trains succeeded in crossing. Burkekin River fell rapidly, and after tho debris was cleared away from the bridge trains made the crossing. Tally River is now within its hanks.
