COLD SNAP
FORTY-THREE BELOW ZERO. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). CHICAGO, Jan. 13. Three persons were frozen to death to-day when the coldest wave of the season sent the local thermometer down to ten below //wo. 'Pile suburban towns havo reported even much lower temperatures, decreasing down to 43 degrees below zero in several towns in Ontario. Much suffering was ('aused in the Chicago' area by the suddenness of the cold and by high winds. Relief is promised for Monday.
