EDITOR’S MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) LONDON, Jan. 13. Alexander Kenneth Murray, from Canberra, wlio arrived in London in June to establish bis claim for the Baronetcy of extensive estates, communicated with Australia House, and had a conference with the Scottish authorities. Finality was not reached, and'•■Murray Was perturbed and complained of “passive resistance to my claims.” In- the course of a letter to a friend lie complained of the terrible amount of expended money to establish the claim and.did not know what to do. The last record was a-letter on September 29th. from an Edinburgh suburb. to his son,, a fruit grower near Sydney, in which he said he was being taken to India. Australia House was asked to trace, the communication by the police and Scottish authorities and copies and revolant correspondence were sent to .the Dominions Office without result. There are many Friers addressed to Sir Alexander Murray awaiting at Australia .House. Prior to lii.s disappearance Colonel Tvyrio presented panoramic views of Canberra, and a visiting card to A. K. Murray, edit.'-' ami proprietor of the Federal Capital Pioneer, Canberra.
