Colin .James Stuart, aged fourteen, was badly. mauled by a twelve foot shark, a few yards from the water’s edge, fit:' Bondi Beach last evening. Bally-bathers were leaving the surf at the' time. ' A: mate of the lad’s rushed to his assistance and got him ashore with the ifi.ani Stuart Whs sent to the hospital, and is in iv serious condition. His rescuer disappeared unidentified. ! The attack emphasises the danger by hundreds, <jf .people, who bathe in the surf at'night during,the'hot spell.
